Ok, so cards on the table time. I have never been on a cruise before so didn't know what to expect, but I was concerned by earlier reviews of the new ship crew not being up-to-it and the smell of sewage, however neither of these things came to find on our cruise. (For info we were on 7 night cruise from/to Miami. In detail of areas; Check-in/arrival; This was pretty seamless, ignore any time you are given to check in you can check in and arrive on the ship any time. I.E. the ship was due to leave at 7pm our (precise) arrival time was something like 3.10pm but we arrival about an hour before that and we were dealt with at that time and was in our room before 3pm, despite what they tell you. Cabin; IMHO don't bother with a super cabin, our cabin was very good, plenty of room. I note moans about lack of hanging space, just manage it! Food (buffet); In a word, "ace" It is very "American" but in positive way that you are in the USA! Breakfast was like a supersized Dennys (lots of bacon, french bread etc) plus properly 50 other items.Lunch buffet was great, again very"American" but just think where you are. Food (sit down in evening); I don't do sit down food, but this was brill, staff were ace, food far better. Entertainment; So the theater holds less than 1/5 of the ship, however book early and you will get in. Shows were ace, head of entertainment was waste of time. Bars etc; Unless you are tea-total book the basic drinks package (cheaper in advance) See pics which just about show what you get in a package and what separate prices are, note some bars have different drinks (particularly cocktails) Outside pools etc; Get there early, they are really poor in that they don't discourage or ask for towels to be removed from pool areas, however there are plenty of beds away from pool areas. Check out; A DISASTER! We had service charge removed from "bill" during week and they tried to add it back on. However at all costs avoid photos they bring to room, not at our request they brought some to the room during the week, we left them in the room and they still tried to charge us for them (remember we didn't ask for them) we had to make a very robust (i.e. argument with them) before they agreed to remove them, We went for the early self check out where you take you own cases off before a certain time, however once off it is a shambles with one escalator which you are told you can't use (but use it anyway) and a slow lift for 4 people to deal with may 20 people a minute!

Great cruise and staff let down by diabolical service at the end of cruise
