We had talked to many people about taking a Rhine River cruise and all the positives comment we got were for the Viking Cruise Line. We were not disappointed. The ship is small and it made getting to know the passengers very easy. The dinner seating was open and we took advantage of that to meet as many people that we could. The meals were all very good with a good selection of wines and beers to go with the meals. The entertainment was of a cozy dinner theater nature. We enjoyed it very much. We mostly went on the free excursions and enjoyed them very much. Excellent walking tours. We especially enjoyed Budapest at the end of our trip. We stayed at a very nice hotel in he castle district. We were able to do a lot of walking in the castle area. Another favorite stop was in Vienna. We attended a very nice concert enjoying Viennese music. All together a wonderful trip.
