Flew into FLL and stayed at Hilton Garden Inn. from there we were able to take the SAS shuttle to the Miami port (We did this because we had our 2 year old and did not want to bring a car seat)
The ship was great. It didn't seem crowded, even with everyone out and about. There was plenty to do - the pools, H2O, kid splash area, water slides, ropes course for adults and one for kids, mini golf, rock climbing wall, etc. There were plenty of fun activities during the day in the atrium, theaters, art gallery, wine tastings, painting, exercise classes, etc.
We ate at the Tropicana every night because our daughter liked the hear the band and dance on the dance floor. The wait staff was very accommodating with getting the food out fast enough for her. However, on our last cruise they were good with seating us with the same waiter or exactly where we wanted - this time not so much.
just like any other room on the NCL cruises. We had a balcony. We were right next to my parents however it would be nice to have an option to open the balcony so we could have the joined. Maybe a feature they add on another boat. Our Bed in cabin 11892 was TERRIBLE. The steward wasn't as attentive as I would have liked nor was the room or bathroom kept as clean as I would have liked. - Not terrible but could have been better
