Background Information
This cruise and destination was selected to celebrate the 50th wedding anniversary of my husband's parents (their choice). The immediate family (total of 7 people) traveled together in 3 adjacent cabins.
The arrangements for the cruise were made by my husband's parents through their travel agent. The reservation number we were given by the travel agent did not match that in Royal Caribbean's records, but fortunately we had enough additional details that we got the correct reservation number by emailing the Royal Caribbean customer service department. After we were able to access our reservation online, we discovered that the travel agent made additional errors (incorrect birthdates, omitting one passenger from our party). Luckily, we caught these problems early. We were able to make minor changes like correcting the birthdates online, but had to work through the travel agent to correct the omitted person. Had we been making the arrangements, we would have worked directly with Royal Caribbean.
The room size was not overly spacious, but it was large enough to accommodate the two of us and our belongings with storage space to spare. The sink in the bathroom was chipped and worn and the decor could have used some updating, but it was clean and functional. The shower was small. We did not hear noise from any of the adjacent cabins.
