We have ever done a transatlantic cruise before and thought it might be a good thing to try
I suggest that no one should book a cruise out of Cape Canaveral. We had to queue first for an hour at the car park/drop off, just to get on the shuttle bus to the boat. We then had to queue for almost two hours in direct sunshine and heat (all of this standing up). The ship gave no indication of why this was such an awful way of treating 4,000 people many of them who looked rather distressed and I would be amazed if someone didn’t suffer with heat stroke.
First impressions very poor and awful lack of respect for clients.
The size was good for a cruise ship. The terrace was nice, but this we paid more for.
There is a desperate need of more staff to clean the cleaning trolly lived outside our cabin most of the day. Our cabin was cleaned some days at lunchtime, this is poor service, this is not the fault of cabin staff.
Strange set up with sink in the living area, but I don’t think Norwegian will ever go for this type of cabin again.
Total lack of plugs to plug in iPads etc.
We took a taxi (we never go on Cruise excursions, as they are expensive and to many people).
Our lady taxi driver was great and stopped and showed us some lovely places on the way to Hamilton. People need to do this and not excursions, cruise lines need to know that they are way to expensive
Same again we took a taxi, great taxi driver who went out of his way to show us around.
No need to take an excursion, you can walk into town and taxis are cheap and will take you to any of the sights that you wish to see.
