Overall we thoroughly enjoyed this eight night cruise, and being 4 cruises into her inaugural season a lot of the issues reported elsewhere had in our opinion been resolved. The only exception being the much touted “Flight” show was still not ready and technical issues with the Aquatheater “Hiro” show lead to it being cancelled twice, one time due to a poor performer being stuck in an overhead harness for 15 mins............ they had to stop and ultimately cancel the show to release her.

We specifically chose this ship and itinerary, as it had been 5 years since our last Oasis class cruise, so we were keen to see how much things had changed with Royal's latest ship. Also we were looking forward to sampling some of the Italian ports.

Having done the maths, we opted for the drinks package, which meant we didn't have to continually check our onboard accounts and/or worry about having that extra glass of wine with dinner, of which there were many........

No problems to report with this stateroom when sailed. Great location (hump) and short walk to the Aft Elevators, with access to Windjammer & MDR.
