My perspective is from a seasoned mature cruiser with over 25 cruises including most of the popular cruise lines. The food & service were fine in both the Main dining room & Windjammer Buffet. Other restaurants we liked are the Solarium Bistro & the Park Café all at no extra charge. Shows were a mixed bag the much touted Grease was too long at 90 minutes. The Music was OK, but the dialog was mostly silly & too long. " Columbus The Musical" was nothing more than a kid show, we almost walked out. The fine Line Aqua show was good, but beware is often cancelled to if it is too windy or rain is threatened.

The 1987 Journey in Time Ice Show was good. The annoying thing is that you have to make reservations almost at the time of booking. If you do not, you may not get in.

Most areas of the ship were too noisy except the Solarium where we liked to hang out, but it has NO pool. There were way too many children on board. It was past spring break & in late April they should have been in school. Read more
