Back from our third cruise on the Star Princess April 2018. It was a wonderful trip; special thanks to the Princess Upgrade Fairy and the unforgettable Captain Tuvo! We had been on the Star a year ago and noticed a vast improvement. On this voyage, the Star Princess focused on accommodating the comfort and convenience of the passengers foremost!

An incredible difference in the menu(s). Kudos to the Head Food & Beverage Officer and Chef(s). We’ve always had Traditional Dinning however on this trip, we had Anytime Dinning. It worked out well without lineups and we were pleased with the service and the food options (the “regular” Princess menu was back). Appreciated the united teamwork as staff, regardless of status i.e. maitre’D, bar and wait staff work together to provide efficient service.

However, we found ourselves often eating in the Horizon Court with its vast array of international dishes. We could fill our plates with salads/vegetables/fruits along with smaller portions of meat dishes. The service upstairs was just as efficient as the MDR, and also offered a relaxing time to chat with the servers. Another bonus we found, was that we were never rushing to get ready for a set dinning time.

Love Princess Upgrade Fairy! Quiet, clean stateroom with lots of storage. New beds & 50” TV!!! i.e. no more squinting. Fantastic views, great location: two floors up to Informal eats or down to MDR.
