This cruse started in Seattle where we lived for many years. Its a fun city to explore if you have never been. I recommend you spend at least 2 days min.
I've cruised with Norwegian 4 times now. The first three were lots of fun and well thought out by staff. This 4th cruse was not good from start to finish. Embarkation was about 2 hours late and the whole ship was checked into the terminal before boarding began. Disembarkation was late as well, times to leave the ship were delayed and the baggage claim was a total mess. After about 45 minutes searching for our bags we found them in a back room at the terminal with about 100 other pieces of luggage. With all the delays, we missed our shuttle to the airport. After waiting about an hour and a half at the terminal the shuttle company send a extra bus to collect about 12 of us.
Once we got on the ship we realized,This ship was not ready to go. We were missing extras we paid in advanced of the cruse. There we no up to date records aboard the ship to confirm what we had paid for, and our printed itinerary's were not accepted as proof.
Cabin, -Door to balcony was missing seal and the wind howled at night, ..earplugs really! No cable first few nights. Calling package did not work the whole cruse. Front desk always had an excuse as to why is does not work.
Very nice port, we got off and walked around. Plenty to see at the port if you have never been.
nothing to see unless you take an excursion. All excursions require a min 3 hour bus ride. Some required longer.
