The embarkation and disembarkation processes were both fine, no problems or delays at either Southampton or New York. I must confess that the balcony stateroom i received was extremely small (not even 140sqft), wardrobe is just so closed to the bed and very difficult to get in out anything out of it (and i am skinny). Bathroom was ok, no complaints. Dining venues were fine, as the ship has a bit of everything for everyone. The service and attendants were very good throughout. The entertainment and activities aboard the ship were numerous and for everyone. Good quality shows suck as Jersey Boys and the Tenors of Rock, and excellent display of Art shows and auctions. The internet service was very good 99% of the transatlantic voyage. I selected the unlimited internet package which i prepaid before embarkation, and it was a great decision. (Cunard should learn from this service and implement it!!!) Likewise, NCL should learn from Cunard QM2, that the SPA should be opened and available for everyone willing to pay for the service, and NOT TO LIMITE the service to only 180 people out of thousands travelling, i was very disappointed about this. However, the pros and cons, I will travel again on the Bliss, and perhaps I should try The Heaven next time. Will see!!! Cheers!!!
At less than 150sq ft, this room, (which it was suppossed to be an upgrade!!), is VERY SMALL, even for a solo traveler as myself, and fit body. As mentioned earlier, althought the bathroom is ok, the distribution is somehow wrong. the wardrobe is either located on the wrong part of the tiny room, ot the bed is too big!!! Very difficult to unload and reload your bags. Not a fan!!
