Cabin: Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

We chose the cruise because it was the maiden voyage for the Bliss and offered the opportunity to stay a few nights in both London and New York. It would have been nice if NCL offered transportation from London hotels to the port in Southampton, something other cruise lines do.

Dining on the ship was excellent especially Le Bistro. Ocean Blue was good but not worth the surcharge. We didn't try all the specialty dining but people we talked with were generally impressed.

Buffet was fine but coffee was not good. Also missed smoked salmon in the morning something we got used to on other cruises.

Cabin Review

Mid-ship Balcony Stateroom

Cabin BA

We really enjoyed our cabin. It was spacious particularly the bathroom with the walk-in shower and the double sink. Plenty of storage room.

The weather was cool so the balcony was something we didn't get a chance to enjoy.

Television options weren't great (CNN would have been nice). Paying for movies was a negative - while some channels offered free movies, there didn't seem to be a schedule for these.
