This was our 2ND Disney voyage, and we have in excess of 20 previous cruises, thus our comparisons to this crappy cruise. What a change in 3 short years. Those things we most enjoyed 3 years ago-the food, staff, and especially the Wonder itself were a portion of this trips problems. The stateroom-2631 was very noisy from the kitchen area above us and this was so bad even our young ones were kept awake during the night from the constant racket. After numerous trips and guest services facing an ugly guest trying to vacation on less than 4 hours sleep for 2 nights, we were finally changed to room 7594. This was a balcony, and with 2 young ones, the very reason we booked an inside initially. This room was very quiet, however my wife missed Castaway Cay as all our belongings had to be packed and unpacked the day we were at Castaway. In our opinion the adult food was crap- the worst experienced on any past cruise. Tough beef, salmon dried out, vegetables not cooked[broccoli, cauli, carrots], the seared tuna was awful, the crabcake was cool [not warm but cool] to give a few examples. Also, we found the desserts to be all show and not very tasty. The one good part of the food was that the boys liked the macaroni, hamburgs, chicken fingers and the mickey mouse ice cream. The shows were great, the characters were everywhere on the ship, and the kids pool, though busy was a real hit with our young ones. We felt the ship is showing her age and is a little tired. Service wise, we found the dining room service well below expectations. In our 1st room, we found a pair of socks left under the bed from previous occupants, and the housekeeping in the youth pool area and hamburg-pizza area was not cleaned very good over night. Loved the sandwich area, the few bar areas we frequented were good service. Oceaneers Club worked out super, and guest services was good but took some convincing of our needs. All in all, if Disney can continue to fill their ships at their high price level, they will have to do so without us, as the next 2 grandkids will not be cruising Disney.
