This area was awesome!!!
I understand it is called the Havana area but maybe they can play other mus

My Husband and I cruised with my brother and sister-in-law for our 20th wedding anniversary. Since we were celebrating we opted for the Havana area. It was well worth the extra money in my opinion. We always had a lounge chair and no long lines for a drink and the pool and hot tubs were never crowded (except when they opened it up to the rest o the guests after 7). Our cabin, 5216 was very nice. It was nice that you could enter through the patio when we left the pool area. You have a special key to enter our cabin. we opted to have cleaning during the morning and a turndown service at night. No problem. One day we did wake up to find ashes and cigarette butts on our patio. Crew thought the people above us were smoking on their patio and they just tossed there butts down. Gross. We hardly left this area. Ocean Plaza was right outside our area, we had breakfast there most days. We did wander up to the lido deck for lunch a few days and the main pool area was so crowded and we couldn't see an empty chair. The buffet was crowded & there always seemed to be a line when we were there. The food was just OK. Guys Burgers was excellent and Blue Iguana has great tacos. The Pizza was great but there was always a line. We tried all the bars and they were great, never waited too long for a drink except for the sports bar, we waited a long time and they didn't have wait staff. Some food in the main dining room was not that good but some of the food was great (flat steak was great, calamari was good, the soups were great. The pasta dishes weren't). Our servers were great but some days the food seemed like it took forever. We watched a movie on the Lido one night and we wanted to get popcorn to go and we were told no, we had to wait for the next movie before they would let us have some, which I thought was strange. All in all the ship was pretty, lots to do but you had to wait for food. The comedians were funny. The Limelight Lounge was different. The layout is not the best. There was always something to do. There was music everywhere. The Casino was very smokey. The white party was not well attended. The shows were ok. The game shows were hysterical.

We enjoyed the Dunn's River Falls in Jamaica. We liked Grand Cayman. We shopped in Cozumel and then got back on the ship to enjoy the Havana area.

Embarkation was ok but disembarkation was a madhouse. People did not care what zone they were and everyone tried to get off the ship at the same time. It was not good. We ended up going to Lido and just hanging out until one of the last people off the ship.

Port Reviews

Cozumel

We got off the ship to shop but never left the port. We decided to get back on the ship and enjoy the Havana Area and eat without having to wait in line.
