I have sailed with Royal Caribbean 4 times now, and this ship is not worth the money. My first cruises were on the Enchantment of the sea, a newer ship so it was nicer overall. This ship is old, shows its age, and boring, even just for a 3 day cruise. The only things to do on board are gamble, drink, or hang with 90% of the ship at the pool. The casino is ok, Carnival's was better.

We had a cabin on the 6th deck, near the front, interior, and do we ever regret that! The first night we heard that the stabilizers were having some issues, so we were rocking like crazy. Made my fiance so sick! They don't tell you that these rooms are located above the front thrusters, and close to the front anchors. So when the ship is parking early in the morning, you are woken up with shaking, rattling, and vibrating! I am so angry that Royal Caribbean doesn't warn you about this when you're booking the room. I spent $800 for a horrible room I wouldn't take for free!

The food was ok. After this many cruises I expect more from the Royal Caribbean dining experience. I kept raving to my friends about how their food is the best for cruise lines, and then we were dissapointed. The gravy tasted straight out of a jar, their steaks were dry even cooked medium, and their potatoes taste like they're made from a powder, and this was in the main dining room! The buffet was alright, it's a buffet, but there were a few instances where the "fresh" fruit looked almost rotten.

Port Reviews

Nassau

Nassau is on of the most boring ports I've been to. Only a few excursion options. The locals are nice, and you feel safe, but it's boring. We did find a private beach away from all the tourists, which was nice, but I have no desire to go back.
