Having just taken a 10 day cruise from Melbourne (Australia) to New Zealand on the Carnival Legend, I would like to make a few points in relation to this cruise.

1. On boarding the ship in Port Melbourne there was a total lack of information and a lack of staff to advise in which direction we should take to find our cabins or even where the elevators were.

2. Seating on the Lido deck during meal times, well is that a misnomer. There is a total lack of seating available to accommodate paying guests. This is further exacerbated by the inability of many persons to use a degree of common sense and leave the eating area once they have finished and not sit there reading, playing cards or just being completely ignorant of others. At the same time the crew seem to have an inability or are not permitted to ask these paying customers to move on once they have finished eating,
