This ship is amazing. Other reviews will tell you that and one thing I'd add is that it was the cleanest and most modern ship I've ever been on. No shortage of things to do. Here's my quick tips.
- Go to Park Cafe for lunch and breakfasts, especially on embarkation day. There's nearly no lines and the roast beef sandwiches for lunch are awesome. Bagel with a shmear and egg sandwiches for breakfast were perfect.
- You can schedule all entertainment if you forget when you first get on board. We waited till the last minute and they closed down online scheduling 3 days before embarkation. But we had no problems scheduling when we walked on by going to one of the bars right in the promenade. A really nice lady gave us recommendations and hooked us up right away.
Great location near elevators and very close to everything. I feared that being on deck 3 would be so low it would be annoying to get around. That did not turn out to be an issue. There are 16 elevators very near by, my time dining room just down the hall, and getting on and off the ship was only one level away. There was nearly no noise, except on the last night when we heard some music from upstairs. Had a white noise app on our phone that we used on very low volume to cancel out any erratic noise and had no problems at all sleeping.
Just played on the beach and on the splash pad area with our kid.
We stayed in port because none of the excursions were really toddler friendly. The port was just a mix of various shops. We went to Margarittaville and swam a bit, but the drinks sucked and were expensive so we left after one. Drank from a coconut sold by a street vendor. If you get one, make sure to return to them after you finish drinking the milk and have them open it up and set it up so you can eat the 'cream' layer on the inside. Delicious!
