We have been to Bermuda on Celebrity before, and we noticed that the first cruise of the season was a "Moveable Feast" cruise. Chefs Richard Blais and Bryan Voltaggio were both on board offering cooking demos and private cooking classes. Normally we wouldn't go to Bermuda this early in the season, but we really wanted to be on this specialty cruise, so we decided to go earlier in the season.

We were lucky enough to get into both private cooking classes and they were the highlight of our cruise. Sadly, Celebrity did NOT offer the originally promised excursion with the chefs that included a private dinner after the excursion. They only offered a Bermuda excursion to an organic farm with a cooking demo.

Service on board was very good, and our cabin attendant was EXCELLENT. We had one of the "Sweet Sixteen" balcony cabins and our attendant, Javier, was probably the best we have ever had. We loved our cabin so much that we booked exactly the same cabin as our last cruise on the Summit!

Cabin Review

Deluxe Ocean View with Balcony 2C

Cabin 2C

Our cabin was a typical balcony cabin on the inside, but since it was one of the "Sweet 16" cabins, the balcony was twice the size of the other regular balcony cabins. There is plenty of storage space for two people in the cabin. It would be tight for more than two people.

I just wish there was an outlet near the bed instead of the single wall outlet near the desk.

Port Reviews

Bayonne (Cape Liberty)

Embarkation was pretty easy, although it seemed like there were a lot of new people being trained. It took longer than it did last time.

King's Wharf

Bermuda was wonderful, and it was so easy to get around via public transportation. We explore on our own, and we find no need to purchase a shore excursion in Bermuda.
