We did this cruise because of the ports of call. Left from new orleans and went to seattle. The ship is very nice and clean, room also very good. The crew was always happy and friendly. Food was better than expected. We missed two ports of call and were not told was not told why, this is one reason we chose this trip was for the ports of call. Smoking was really bad on the ship as they have a cigar room inside the ship bt the piano bar which was full of cig smokers who liked to hold the door wide open for a period on time and let all the smoke out into the bar. Also the casino let the smoke out at both ends and into the theatreall the was into the balcony. This will make us think twice to cruise with nicl again. We also liked the amount of bars and dining rooms.

Port Reviews

New Orleans

left 4 hours late

Cozumel

another mexican port with lots of diamond shops

Costa Maya

went to the beach and had a great day

Harvest Caye

went to a spice farm and ruins. Long day and ship left as we got back

Corinto

okey, nothing seams to stand out

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

one of the missed ports of call

Acapulco

very hot and just went for a walk and to the beach

Cabo San Lucas

went on a glass bottom boat and out to see the rocks and sights, took us to a beach and dropped us off and walked back to the ship. Might fly back for 1 to 2 weeks

Los Angeles

waste of a day as everyone had to get off the ship and go through immigration. We were to be off by 9:30, but did not get through until after 11 am. no one was allowed back on the ship until everyone was off. Also the port in in the industrial area of cargo ships with no place to go

Seattle

as we live in vancouver b.c. we went home, but lots to see in seattle and the port is right down town
