I chose royal caribbean since it had higher reviews than Carnival and was considered classier. Capuccino, lattes, coffee shop coffee, room service, eating outside buffet hours were all at an 'extra cost'. Buffet hours are a lot tighter than other cruiselines. There are about 3 hours in between buffet hours where you can only pick up a snack at the crappy pizza spot or deli (elementary school cafeteria style) if you are hungry. Sit down dinner must be scheduled within specific hours of the day so if you pass the dining hall desk at the wrong time of the day, you can't schedule your sit down dinner. I was only able to get sit down dinner 1 day out of the 5 days. Johnny Rockets on the ship is nothing like the Johnny Rockets quality you get on land and the cost is about $15/pp with tip. My egg whites were actually hard boiled eggs with the yellow yolk hand picked out and broken up with a fork before arriving to my plate for room service. LOL. It was okay, but for the amount of money you spend a cruise with food included, I guess I was expecting better food and more hours to be able to eat. The inconvenience of tight schedule for dining makes it pretty impossible for most cruisers to be able to have a sit down meal. Pool area was super crowded, yet very clean since there is no food at the pool except the half filled ice cream cones and little fruit stand with cut up melons. If you think you are going to drink at the pool, and get constant burgers and hot dogs in between your cocktails, you are sadly mistaken. If you are on a diet, and would like to continue your diet on your vacation, then Royal Caribbean is for you lol. They charge you for bottles of water and their EVIAN is $32 for 8 bottles and tastes like toilet water (i can only imagine this is what toilet water tastes like). Make sure you have your room card ready to scan when you return your pool towels or you will be charged $25 per towel ( even if you leave in your Stateroom).

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6N

obstructed ocean view was perfect with bottom of life boat view but still view of the ocean. The sun wasn't beaming in the room in the morning but the view of the ocean was still there.
