Cabin: Balcony

We chose this cruise because we had been wanting to cruise through South America and this ship offered us the best deal and visited all the places that we wanted to see.

This was our first time on Princess.

We arrived in Buenos Aires 2 days prior to our cruise. We stayed at the Novotel Hotel. It was very nice, centrally located, reasonably priced and the service was excellent. We had a buffet breakfast at the hotel which was very good and asked the concierge for recommendations for restaurants in the area. They also helped us book two tours - one was to a Tango Show and the other a city tour. We enjoyed both.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

We had a balcony cabin on the Baja deck. It was spacious and comfortable. It had sufficient space for storage and a nice closet. The bathroom also had spaces to place toiletries.

We had very good service from our cabin steward.

Port Reviews

Buenos Aires

We went to a Tango show at Ventana Restaurant. Excellent food, great entertainment. We booked through our Hotel. (Novotel)

Montevideo

We visited the Legilative Palace - beautiful building, and the soccer Museum. Then visited the Port Market. Very nice city.

Stanley

This is a very small island, not much to see or do. We did a city tour and went to a Museun. The history of the island and the war between Argentina and Britain is very interesting.

Santiago (Valparaiso)

We had booked a tour with Ruta Valparaiso. We waited at the for two hours and they did not show up or call us. We took a tour with someone we found at the port. Were only able to see Santiago - Took the funicular and saw the city, had lunch, went to el Palacio de la Moneda. Then they took us to the Airport.

We were not able to book a tour through Princess because our flight left at 8:45 pm .
