We love this relatively small ship, with a more intimate atmosphere, friendly staff and lack of queues everywhere. The cabin was very well maintained, with a comfortable bed. We travelled as a couple and noticed that there were very few children on board. We found the food to be of a very good standard; with the two fine dining restaurants good value; we preferred Bayou to Sabitini's. This is the second time we have sailed this particular cruise, and we enjoyed it as much this time. There is a very good balance of ports of call and sea days. We took Princess shore excursions for all ports, except Aruba (we decided we just wanted to stroll around the nice port area this time), and were happy with the majority. Ocho Rios was our favourite because of the friendliness of the tour guides and the beautiful scenery. Costa Rica was an interesting place and very good for spotting animals such as sloths, monkeys, birds, etc. in their natural habitat I was quite ill with a migraine on embarkation day, and we were touched by the kindness of all the staff we encountered during the process.

Very nice to stroll around the port town, which is directly accessible from the ship. There is a free short tram ride around the town.
