Family and Friends sailed on this ship together. Ship overall is beautiful and HUGE! In comparison to past cruises on Royal and Carnival, I was not impressed with the lack of helpfulness and excitement the staff presented. Our room tenant and wait staff were incredible, but other staff throughout the ship were unwilling to help or explain how things worked or where to go to find what we were looking for. Arcade was confusing and customer service was not helpful. Also BIG ISSUE with the pool decks being much too slippery!! Saw many adults and children fall and hit there head hard or injure limbs. It was concerning, and other than a few staff members with squeegie mobs, nobody addressed it. Also BEWARE of extra charges such as "free" room service. There is a $9.95 service fee everytime you order. And although we thought out gratuities were paid ahead, they tack on another room gratuity of $15/day per person. It being our 1st family cruise, we were hoping for a professional picture, however, the picture gallery was always closed when we tried to go. They told us they would be available for purchase on last day, but when we went it AGAIN was closed and staff said they could not help us. We went home with no family picture of us on formal night like I had hoped to get. Overall, boat was very impressive but RC faculty was not.
