Queen Victoria at anchor off Sicily

After 14 years cruising on P&O, DW and myself decided on a change as I was celebrating a big birthday.

We loved the elegance of the ship, the white star service and the friendliness of 99.99% of the staff.

We dined in Britannia on 2nd sitting and had great table companions. The food was better than Pando and the Lido buffet was fine. We had 1 night in the speciality restaurant Coriander and that too was fabulous.

Perfectly adequate. Slightly larger than the corresponding grade on P&O we thought. Good flat screen TV with Sky Sports which impressed me! Steward was Ariel who was quiet but pleasant and kept the storeroom nice and clean. Bathroom had an attractive marble type sink but a downside was the shower size - I'm only average height and weight (at least until after the cruise!) but found it a bit of a squeeze.
