Let me start out by saying my husband and I have taken 60 plus cruises on most of the cruise lines of late Celebrity being our favorite for comparisons listed below.

We chose this cruise as we wanted to see San Francisco again (hadn't been there in 5 years) and wanted to go down to the Monterey/Carmel area for a few days post cruise.

The last time we were on the Grand was when it was a year old so it has naturally aged but has been maintained fairly well. The crew couldn't have been more accommodating and friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs which you don't find on too many ships. Our mini suite was on dolphin deck and very comfortable. We did not find the furniture or carpeting shabby and the towels appeared new. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Cabin was kept immaculate by our steward.

Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MD

Great cabin - plenty of storage room and good closet space. Decent sized balcony. Quiet location. Would highly recommend this cabin.
