I have been on the Gem before. Nice sized ship – not too large, not too small. No cruise is ever perfect. But on other lines there is “guest services” that are there for the guests.

BTW while the cruise was titled "New England and Canada", we only stopped in Canada!

Food I say is edible, not great but you certainly will not starve.

Please tell me why the electric outlet in the bathroom is located in the ceiling?? I stupidly grab the rolling stool (while in port) to stand on to plug in my water pik. My electric toothbrush was plugged in by the TV!! The NCL rule is to keep nothing plugged in. My room steward, luckily, never unplugged it.

On the last night (after I used the water pik) I stood by my door and grabbed the first person walking by to unplug it.

Why is there no decent light in the room. Yes you can see, but not do anything that requires a good light. Also there is no full length mirror that allows you to check yourself before leaving. There is one but the positioning makes it useless.
