What an amazing experience, our first cruise ever, we chose Melbourne to New Zealand and it did not let us down. We are hooked. The ship was fantastic, big and comfortable, we fell in love with The Dawn Princess. The service, beyond excellent. The crew well trained went above and beyond. Our cabin steward was a gem. There when you needed him, kept our cabin immaculate and nothing was too much trouble. The food, wow! the food. The buffet "Horizons" great for breakfast and when you were in a hurry and needed a quick meal. The main restaurants for lunch or dinner were above all our expectations. The quality, the service, the choice, nothing but brilliant. Afternoon tea was a real treat. No,you will never go hungry on a cruise, I managed to put on 3 kilo! We had a fantastic relaxing time and loved everything about the cruise. Was it that good you might ask, was everything perfect? Heck no! Yes things went wrong, sometimes you had to wait in line for a table or to get served, with nearly 2000 people on board nothing is going to be perfect. Some of the passengers were grumpy and rude, but only a very small few. What did override all of this was an amazing ship with a brilliant crew and the many many hundreds of passengers determined to have a great time, and they did and so did we. We made some wonderful new friends, are hooked on cruising for life and yes we are already planning our next princess cruise.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BB

Our cabin was a little smaller that we had imagined, but it worked. We had a balcony cabin on Aloha deck. The bed was a little hard but we got used to it. Never had enough space for our clothes, but then we took way to much. Would never do a cruise without the balcony, enjoyed the privacy, the room service breakfast as we sailed along. Could not fault our cabin it had everything you would need.
