This was my very first cruise. I cruised with a couple of friends and my sister and brother in law. Port Canavral was great. We stayed at the Raddison at the Port and that was a great hotel with wonderful dining. I have celiac disease and require a gluten free diet and this hotel did a great job accommodating my restrictions. We took an Uber ride to the port and check in process was quick and painless. We were on the ship by 11:20am and had a drink in our hand by 11:30am!! While on the ship the main dining room really took care of me and my special diet restrictions. Windjammers was good too but not the same quality of food nor did they have the variety. Nassau was nice. Lots of great shops. I realized I am too old for Senior Frogs!! HA HA HA!!! Coco Cay was beautiful. It was my favorite day by far. The only negative for this was the fact that while on the island they served lunch but the staff was not very concerned or educated on a gluten free diet. Our rooms were nice and comfortable. We had a room with a window but not a balcony. Small yes, but you don't really spend much time in them especially on a three day cruise. The shows were mediocre. All in all I will for sure be taking another cruise probably next year for vacation.
Loved it!!!
We shopped on our own. I wish now that I had taken a tour of the island. I will plan on doing that next time
