I've never been disappointed with a ship experience when cruising on any cruise line until now. I was shocked at our room. It was like a closet! No fridge/mini bar, no outlets anywhere except the vanity area (not near the bed or in the bathroom!). Couldn't even get around the bed to crawl in. I immediately asked to purchase an upgrade, but nothing was available. Husband is diabetic and needed a mini-fridge to keep his insulin in and we were not given a working fridge until after 11 am the 2nd day (one was brought up late afternoon first day but didn't work, reported it at 9 pm, wasn't replaced for 13 hours, then took hours to cool down to be effective for storing his insulin, which I'm sure was negatively affected by then.) I know now that Rhapsody of the Seas is an older, smaller ship, but I had no idea how tiny the rooms were, and how little in terms of amenities were offered - like only 2 VERY small swimming pools (one outside, one in Solarium), no bells and whistles. I've never seen areas in the dining room out in the open where dirty dishes are collected, etc. -- very noisy and messy and distracting. That should all be out of sight of those dining. I wouldn't expect this at a common restaurant, let alone a luxury meal on a ship. Towel animals only 3 of 7 nights. Service was very good and staff very nice and accommodating. Cannot say enough about the staff who helped us get off the ship early to catch an early flight; I'm very grateful to them.

Noticed that the sheets our last night were yellowed and dingy. Cabin attendant was very good. Hallways very narrow, rooms too small to accommodate handicapped scooters so they were in the hall and had trouble getting around them. A big hump in the flooring near our room and nearly tripped/fell several times.
