Our family is fortunate because we reside only 30-minutes from Port Canaveral. We enjoy the PASSENGERS on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, in addition to the ships, itinerary, food and entertainment. We are now all Diamond-Plus Members of Royal Caribbean’s Crown and Anchor Society.
Stateroom: We stayed in a marvelous Grand Suite in deck 11 near the Diamond Lounge. The room size is 371 sq. ft. with a 105 sq. ft. balcony. The bathroom is spacious, has a tub, two sinks and lots of storage. Our stateroom attendant provided the "invisible service" we appreciate: place the "Make UP Room" sign on the door when leaving for meals and the room is clean when we return. The internet package for the entire cruise is also a nice feature and comes free with a Grand Suite.
Coastal Kitchen and Suite Lounge: We were interested in experiencing the additional benefits of Grand Suites and above (Sky Class) by having breakfast, lunch and dinner in the Coastal Kitchen and drinks in the Suite Lounge next door. Service is superb and quality of the food excels many of the specialty restaurants. The filet of beef, served on the first night of the cruise, is superb!! Select beer, wine and champagne is available from 11:30 am until 11:00 pm. Mixed drinks are available from 4:30pm until 8:00pm each night. We were pleasantly surprised to find the Coastal Kitchen is even open for breakfast on debarkation morning. Reservations are required for dinner, so I recommend making your reservations early when you come on board before the most popular times are taken.
