I chose this cruise mostly to get away but also to see what the Pacific was like going to Vancouver. It was a re position cruise so no ports, no excursions. We had 2 1/2 days to get to know the Ruby Princess. The food in the dining room was amazing, I love the chocolate journey deserts. Our cabin was very comfortable but the bed could have been better. The first day the onboard activities were great, however I feel the second day it fell apart, I was actually looking for things to do. Our entertainment was a gentleman - Funch he was great and another guy in the Princess Theater that should have been in the Explorers lounge. I really felt there should have been better entertainment around the ship. In all fairness it was a re position and the things that I expect on a longer cruise I expected here. Would I go again, in a heartbeat. Yes it is short, the price was fair and it is no more expensive than going away for a long weekend. On the cruise everything is at your fingers, we did not have to drive and find food or be entertained.
