I have been on carnival ships several times and never had a complaint until this ship. First off we paid about 2,500 for the two of us for a suite thinking we would have a better experience and wanted to try a better room. The room was nice but the AC hardly ever worked. We called numerous times to be fixed and it never was. There was hardly any activities and Grand Cayman you barely had enough time to do anything. Last tender was at 2:15. This boat was nothing but geriatrics. It was wall to wall walkers and wheelchairs. We found the very few people that were under the age of 70. That made excursions with tenders take extra long due to all the assistive devices. Service was horrible. Being in a suite I expected more but got less than I would be being in an interior cabin. The staff wasn't very friendly. Especially when we called about our AC and had to call repeatedly for someone to show up.

All other cruises I had been on in carnival had entertainment and this one lacked the fun appeal. There wasn't much to do and even there lido deck parties had barely anyone at them. Maybe because all the seniors were in bed by then. Days at sea they shut things down early as well so we pretty much were at the casino or the room with not much to do. Also a word to the wise when you use your sail and sign account do not use a debit card. Every transaction and i mean every one links to your bank account so when you use it to buy a drink (couldn't do the beverage package as my boyfriend doesn't drink) or use credits for slots it adds to your bank account that I had several overusage charges from my bank. I ordered a cake for a birthday and when it was delivered it sat out in the heat of our room and was melted with no plates or utensils. Got attitude when I called about it. Guess we were supposed to eat it with just our mouths and hands behind our backs like little fat kids in our overpriced room. Very disappointed in this cruise.

Very hot. Sweated most nights. AC barely worked. Loved the balcony as it was very roomy as well as the room. The bed was comfortable but being as we couldn't sleep under the covers it made it not so pleasant since it was so hot in the room. Even tipped our steward to help but he took the money and never did anything about it or called anyone.
