We are a couple on our late fifties that have cruised nine times previously. We have long looked forward to being able to choose cruises based on itinerary or price instead of choosing what is available during our time off. Since we are both now fully retired, this was our first time choosing a cruise without constraints. It was our first NCL cruise having cruised Royal Caribbean, Princess and Carnival on the past.

We chose this itinerary due a very low teaser rate. Despite fees and taxes nearly doubling the quote, it was still a bargain. My mother and aunt decided to join us so we were a group of four all very pleased with our fare. We booked inside cabins on deck 12.

Embarking in Port Canaveral was smooth. We had difficulty getting a commercial taxi from our pre-cruise hotel and ended up taking Lyft. No problems dropping us off right in front of the ship. We dropped our bags and headed in. Lines were moderate and moved quickly. In less than a half hour, we were through the process. We were very happy to find the sit down dining room, Taste, open for lunch.

Cabin Review

Mid-Ship Inside

Cabin IA

Functional, efficient, good air conditioning. Cabin steward was fantastic. Everything worked, no issues. Plenty large enough for the two of us.
