My son was taking his family on a spring break cruise. I went along to spend time with my Granddaughter. We shared a room together. The room was good size and plenty of storage. However our room attendant was difficult to find. I have sailed several cruise lines and on this particular cruise line which was my first time I found the staff was not overly friendly. They did their job but interaction with the guests was not there. Almost like hurry up and move on to the next table. The food in the dining room was good and bad. The appetizers were very good and a good selection. The steaks were very tough and dry. Entertainment was so so although there was a lot of activities for kids. The casino was very smoky even at the no smoking machines. I saw people smoking all over the ship which concerned me. One night we tried the buffet and the only thing I could eat was the salad bar or a deli sandwich. I could not cut the meat in the oriental stir fry or the leg of lamb let alone chew it. The best thing on the ship for me was your coffee. Very good. Freeport did receive a lot of damage and several things were closed. Nassau was very nice. The pool area was jammed with kids and getting to a hot tub which didn't look to clean was impossible. I was surprised that there was only one main pool. I didn't see a lot of staff around to help people or supervise. A glass was broken in front of the sushi bar and several guests used their feet to move the glass out of the way. A staff member did not show up for about 10 minutes. Would I go again?? That is a good question. It is cheap but as my husband used to say "If you can't better yourself on a vacation you might as well stay home"
