Ship is too big. Lots of walking and if you're handicapped you're smart to bring a wheelchair or mobility scooter or you will have a lot of trouble. Elevators are slow and people are quick to get pushy. 4,000 passengers is too crowded. Pools are crowded and the actual pool is about the size of a large bathtub. They have large tiled areas around the pool, but no sprayers so the tile will get hot fast. We didn't have much trouble with seating except in the garden café/buffet area. Eat breakfast before 7, you can always go back to bed for a few hours. Dining rooms are over packed. You need to make reservations, even for complimentary dining but you must do so before the dining rooms open. I would suggest making all of your dining and entertainment reservations as soon as you get on the ship, even before roll call. Otherwise you'll be stuck waiting at the standby line. The entertainment shows are good but again, you must reserve a spot because the theater is very small, like 500 person capacity.

Our cabin (and many others said the same), was very cramped. The toilet is behind a frosted sliding door on one side, and the shower is a tube with a sliding frosted door on the other. This was an inside room. There was a curtain separating the living/bed area from the bathroom- no actual bathroom or door. So you need to be pretty comfortable with the people you're traveling with. The sink was in the vanity by the bedroom. The refrigerator was up on the top shelf, above the vanity, so you have to sit in the chair to see to do your hair at the counter and the hairdryer is below on the shelf. It's pretty weird. Beds are very hard/firm. You'll need to bring an egg crate/waffle topper for softness if you need a soft bed. Our cabin porter was fantastic. We loved him. The staff on the ship was very nice. My husband didn't get a handicapped room and that made life tough for 2 weeks. So be sure your travel agent gets proper information from the cruise line. They won't allow scooters to be parked in the hall. You have to let them take it to another floor for storage and charging. So, be sure you get a handicapped room and invest in something that is lightweight and collapsible if you have mobility problems.

Food was ok, nothing to write home about. The Taste restaurant (one of the complimentary dining options), has a lot of wear and tear on the tile at the front entrance. The tiles are loose and many are broken. The ship carpet is dingy and in all the ship looks a little worn out already. The activities are mainly on the 5th floor in the atrium and mostly consists of trivia. They play movies sometimes, but they're the same 3 movies that all of the Norwegian ships show and they repeat them during the trip. They need something different and some fresh ideas. No midship elevators on the main activity floors 5-7. You have to go from one end to the other and of course on floor six, that means the casino-from one end to the other and enduring cigarette smoke. Do yourself a favor, if you're disabled, use the 7th floor to go back and fourth and then go down to 5, 4, or whatever. If you're ambulatory, there's an escalator from deck 5-6 in the casino. I found the floor along the escalator wall in the casino was uneven and I almost fell a few times. I did like the adult only pool in the back on deck 15. However, there's no shade. It's blazing hot during the day and the evening movie at 6:30 (shown on the screen), ended up facing the sun and many of us had to leave even though we had sunglasses. One thing I did like, was the handicapped restrooms. It's a single bathroom stall with an automatic door. The problem we found, were non handicapped people using it and when my husband desperately needed to go he couldn't and almost had a few accidents. Not a great cruise. I didn't like it because we felt the ship was too big, too crowded and it's not handicapped friendly.
