For the base-price, this cruise met our expectations…which isn’t necessarily a great thing. We knew going in it was a second-hand boat to a not-so-great port, but the price was attractive. It was cute for what it cost, but there are several reasons why after our trip (4/22 departure), we would not go with them again, nor suggest anyone to.

- Our entire trip was plagued with worry & inconvenience because of them. Our card was declined the 1st night, which led to losing sleep & two visits to guest services, sitting on the phone with my bank for 45min each with a line building behind me (SUPER stressful). I was mad at my bank until I found out it was the cruise-line’s fault. Our bank never flagged or put a hold on the card itself, the cruise line ran a failed attempt to charge the card, but kept re-trying under the same authorization code, which doesn’t work. So, we worried, lost sleep, & wasted all that time we could have been enjoying our cruise & it was because they were running it wrong. Because of that, we were unable to purchase any additional food, drinks, souvenirs, or use the casino the whole first night. I got up early in the morning to hit guest services with no line for the 2nd of my two 45 min calls with the bank, trying to figure it out…missing breakfast, having to go straight to our meeting for the excursion. We used our card all day on the island just fine by the way. So, it seemed to be worked out…we purchased some items from the gift shop on the boat & a few drinks that night. In the morning, we were literally walking off the boat & they wouldn’t let us leave when they scanned our ID’s because the TIPS had not been settled…our card was “declined” again. Luckily, we had JUST enough cash to settle & not have to re-explain what our bank told us…that the card was never flagged or put on hold...the cruise line was running it wrong. That was the big thing.

- We’ve been on cruises before…we know & love the international crew. On other ships though, they’ve also been properly trained in customer service & some basic English communication. I can’t count how many times we asked for directions or questions concerning various things & it feels like nobody understood what we were asking. “No…the BOW is not the pool.” They didn’t even know what parts of the boat they worked on are called? It was crazy…and God forbid we have any emergency & need to communicate specific instructions to anyone. Not kidding…it was THAT bad. Especially at customer service…trying to get them to understand the problem with running our card.

Cabin Interior

It was nice. Thin walls though.
