Awesome Travelers from Oklahoma had an outstanding experience on the ms Koningsdam! This cruise ship is one of the newest Holland America's ship and it is beautiful. The crew and staff were friendly, helpful and attentive to all our needs. The food was yummy with a variety of options for any dietary needs. We enjoyed the nightly entertainment, casino, and American Test Kitchen. Cruising the Mediterranean during April is one of the best seasons to cruise. The weather was sunny and delightful. We were fortunate to have a cabin upgrade from a Veranda Suite to a Vista Suite with more room. Our stateroom was serviced by Aris & Mar, two of the best we have experienced. Each day we were provided with a fresh fruit bowl in our cabin, plus a delightful animal towel design on our bed each evening when we returned from our shore excursions. This was our first year to use private companies (Papillon and Barcelona Day Tours) for our shore excursions. Both provided outstanding excursions with quality tour guides that were top-notched. We definitely will use Papillon again! Our tour guides (Chris, Franc and Sabrina) were the best. Plus we were able to exit the ship quickly and depart with our small group without waiting for large groups to fill the waiting buses.

We highly recommended Holland America's cruises on the Koningsdam! Would love to go again on this ship to a different part or our beautiful world.
