We booked this cruise so we could be with friends, new and old, from previous cruises. Getting on in Miami was not a good experience. Getting off was just a bad, took forever. The ship was clean but needs refurbishment and a lot of it. The cabin was same as usual and bed comfortable. The food was OK in main DR, good in the Windjammer, and good in Promenade Cafe, although the sandwiches were almost empty. Not as good as before. Shows were good as usual, Service was OK although our cabin attendant was very unattentive. We were disappointed in our cabin person as he didn't respond to our requests. We asked for ice twice a day and sometimes we got and sometimes not. Also, this ship was going on to England after our cruise on the Navigator of the Seas and our cabin attendant starting bringing things for the next cruise passengers into our cabin 2 days before we were getting off. I felt that was wrong as we paid for the cruise until the last day and he was putting things like cups, tablecloth, coffee pot, etc into our cabinets before out things were even moved out. The food on the ship was not as good as earlier days and sometimes came out almost cold. We did not do any shore excursions as we had been to these islands several times before. Didn't make it to Aruba as there was a bad storm heading there and the Captain decided not to chance it. Instead we went into Nassau and many people got off. We did not as, again, we had been there many many times, No children were involved, only those with other people. Most were unruly. I don't thing we will take any more cruises during April, too many kids.
We are diamond plus and we will continue to cruise RC but will be looking for different kinds of itineraries other than Caribbean. Looking forward to going on the new ships.
OK - same as usual.
