This cruise was chosen for the overnight hours (Thursday, 8 am to Friday, 8 pm) spent in Havana, Cuba. We had 2 full days with 3 planned tours from 3 different tour operators. The ship is small and older but Cuba was the highlight so the ship amenities were secondary. The staff was friendly and helpful. The disembarkation was smoother than the embarkation.
The entertainment was great and there were plenty of activities onboard. The dining experience was interesting because there was only one dining room on two levels that was separated into scheduled dining on the 4th floor and my time dining on the 5th floor. Unfortunately the dining staff performances were directed towards the 4th floor dining room guest and we had my time dining.
Comfortable shoes is a must because the streets are cobblestone and sidewalks are narrow or non-existent. Sunscreen and hats will help with the heat and humidity. Drink plenty of water that can be brought or bought on the ship. The locals seemed friendly and helpful even though English was limited..
This cabin is okay but the bathroom is small. This is an old ship since the port of Cuba is small. However, the destination was the focal point not the ship amenities.
