This was my second time aboard this ship. All of the staff and crew were friendly and helpful. However, it would seem that it may be time for a refurbish. A lot of the ship is showing signs of wear. It seemed as though the public restrooms were out of order a lot and the ones that were working were extremely dirty.
Dining was not as good as when I was last on the Navigator (2 years). The specialty restaurants, of which I dined in all four, were simply average. Although the up charges for these venues is minimal, you will receive the same quality of cuisine in the main dining room. The main dining room serves food that is above average and the staff there is excellent.
Although some of the shows in the theaters were the same as when I was last on the Navigator, they were very entertaining and I enjoyed them very much.
Embarkation was relativley painless. From curbside to boarding was a little less than two hours.
The ABC islands were awesome. I recommend them highly.
Getting off the boat was a nightmare. Very disorganized. They seemed to be having some kind of difficulties.
A word to the wise about the luggage valet service to the airport offered by Royal Caribbean. Proceed with caution, both of my bags did not make it home. Long story short, they were found a week later still at the port. They never made it onto the truck to the airport. On the plus side Royal Caribbean did ship them to me when they were eventually located.
Cabin was clean and comfortable. The bathroom needs a renovation. Although the bathroom was kept very clean there are things preparing to fall off the wall.
