My wife and I sailed, again, on the Eclipse, out of Miami. We arrived at the cruise terminal at 11:30AM and embarkation was a breeze. We proceeded to the Ocean Grille because we could not see our room until 1:00PM. After lunch and a short walk around the ship we arrived at our cabin and opened the door. OH NO !! The positioning of the room was not what we were told, by Celebrity, and would create a problem for the entire cruise. We did not enter the cabin but went immediately to Customer Service and spoke with Alexis. He was very kind and gracious and told us to return to the room and he would be there shortly. True to his word, a while later, he arrived at the room and told us; at that time, he could not change the room because the ship was completely booked. We unpacked and started our vacation. We met our cabin attendant, Jose, who was very kind, understanding of our situation and kept our cabin "ship shape". Anything we asked of him was easily accomplished. Cabin 9280 is on the "hump" centrally located on this ship, very quiet with the bed near the balcony.

We ate every evening in the MDR; "Moonlight Sonata" . The hostess, Ivana was great! Our waiter, Markus was outstanding ! Markus, Jobel & Randi were our servers for the entire cruise and we never wanted for anything. The food in the MDR was delicious, prompt, hot, and always presented well. Every morning we ate breakfast, cooked to order, and most of the time we had lunch either at a beach or at the Ocean Grille. The food was very good at the Grille and Martin, a one time hockey player and former team-mate of Zdeno Chara, made sure everything ran smoothly.

The activities on board were very good. We only made a couple of the shows but one of the shows sticks out. Sean O'Shea was terrific. The man has vocal and comedic talent. He entertained everyone with his singing and continuous slap-stik. I did sing at Karaoke a few nights and I was impressed with other singers. We met our cabin attendant, Jose, who was very kind, understanding of our situation and kept our cabin "ship shape". Anything we asked of him was easily accomplished.
