We've been on 15 cruises this by far was one of the best. I was concerned about all the negative reviews I was reading about on line and went with low expectations. Getting on the ship was a breeze and we were on the ship earlier than any boat I've ever been on. We were on the boat when 5,000 people were aboard, a school vacation week. It never felt crowded, food was excellent and the shows were outstanding! Ship was clean and we traveled with no children but kids loved the tubes, water park and you could get a board, slide down and shoot for points in the dark as you go down. The ship is set up for sun lovers and I need shade there were a small amount of deck chairs in the Jungle Pool that gave shade so I had to get out early to get a chair in the shade. We went on an excursion to El Yunque Rain forest in San Juan and it was run efficiently. We stayed on board for the other stops since we had been to these sites multiple times. The food was excellent your usuals: prime rib, fish selections, pasta etc. My husband had multiple meals some nights and out of everything there was only one meal he didn't like the pesto gnocchi. We were an inside cabin and were on a budget an extra vacation we snuck in because the price was so low on this ship we'd thought we'd give it a try we were on the MSC Davina and did not like that ship all that much. My only issue was not the ships fault but twice we had an experience that a group of people brought there "boom Box speakers" and in one instance placed it on the bar and played cuban music so loud it was disruptive and the same experience after dinner and show having a cup of coffee same thing different people. When complaining was told MSC didn't have a policy on this ridiculous they need to add a policy since there are such rude people out there! I would not hesitate going on this ship and I have never written a review before but I feel the Seaside is getting unnecessary negative reviews.
