The worst 2 weeks of our life, this was supposed to be our honeymoon! Where to start... Firstly we arrived in our balcony cabin to find remaining confetti from someone who must have had the room before us i imagine, no tea bags, coffee or milk available we had to wait 30 mins until someone bought us some. The first night- major design fault in balcony rooms, balcony doors did nothing but creek! The next day after no sleep we askes to speak with a manager in reception where the inconsiderable woman told us we would have to come back as he was unavailable until 5pm, no apology no care whatsoever. After numerous complaints we made they finally decided to move us into a different cabin for the night- relief? I think NOT the useless people moved us to another room which were right next to the flippin boats generators! Horrible grinding and vibrating noises! So once again (its now 11.45pm) we called reception and 20 min later they bring us a new key to another room! At this point i believed i was going insane the new room they have us for the third time made the same horrendous noises as our first room! At this point enough was enough we asked the staff member to call reception and explain to them that this was not acceptable, when the staff member came off the phone he told us we had to go to reception in our pjs as they would not come to us at this point i think any sane person was contemplating jumping off the ship due to no sleep for over24 hour! Once we got to reception i asked the manager to make his way to once again ANOTHER cabin where we them offically gave up as it was a situation we were never going to win! Dining- no organisation whatsoever!! We were not "allowed" to reserve a 2 person table it was a first come first serve which is ridiculous considering how many passangers there was even after explaining to the dining manager it was out honeymoon and we didnt think waiting 45 minutes every night for a table was good enough after paying over three thousand pound he seemed absolutely useless did not show any interest in what we had to say, no resolution once again. The food in the "Horizon" dining room was TERRIBLE everything was reheated right down to the poached eggs! We saw the so called chefs bring out the pre cooked poached eggs out and throw them back into hot water to warm them up! The same happened with some fish my partner had! He saw the chef place the tray in the microwave to reheat when my partner asked him why he did that the so called chef replied with "theres too many people this is how we do it" absolutely unbelievable we could not believe what the heck we were seeing or eating! For 11 out of the horrible 14 nights we were on this night mare we ate at the "beach house" where it was the best of a bad job each night we paid an extra £19 a night as there was a subcharge to this resturaunt another joke in its self! Room service- an absolute con! So our cruise apparently is "all inclusive " well dont be fooled what a big fat lie that was! They charge you for everything other than your poxy brekki! I ordered a pizza one night the pizza arrived like it had been sat in a box for the past 3 months, dry burnt and completly inedible i called room service and immediately asked them to take away the food and i was not going to pay for it- 4 hours later the pizzs remained outside our cabin door!! I seriously would not feed any of that food to my dog if i had one! Burnt toast, no grilled meats weve been living a nightmare! Staff- exceptionally RUDE other than our cabin steward Suneesh and the staff from the beach house restaurant, the rest of them had no idea what was going on from reception staff to chefs to managers absolutely disgusting i have never experienced anything like it. There is not one good thing we can say about out 14 night experience on p&o i urge anyone who is contemplating travelling with them to NOT do so, all they want you to do is spend all your money! Lets not forget the "service charge" of £98 per person i think NOT i can assure you all now they do not deserve any service charge. Thanks p&o you truly ruined our honeymoon not that you care ! Wont be wasting money with you.
