This is my seventeenth cruise and the first one with HAL. I really liked the service and friendliness of the staff. The food was quality. I especially liked the fresh berries for breakfast. We had a transatlantic, I was afraid that they would end. But the berries were daily. I have not seen this with other cruise companies. The choice in the restaurant is decent. On a solemn evening served foie gras.

Pleasant soft loungers and sofas by the pool I also really liked. But the pool themselves seemed small to me. We did not have hot weather. In the summer there can be crowded.

Excellent program Navigator helps to find out what is happening on board. Of the entertainment I liked most of all the songs and music in the the Billboard lounge. Read more
