I chose this cruise because a friend had cruised the year prior on the Norweigan Breakaway. I chose this particular trip because it didn't veer too far out into the ocean but skirted the Golf of Mexico and then out into the Western Caribbean. I was concerned about seasickness. My adult daughter and I got the patches, though, and they worked fabulously! Our trip went from Miami, to Costa Maya, to Harvest Caye, to Belize City, and to Cozumel.

We boarded the ship with ease, which was surprising being first time cruisers who had no idea what they were doing. We immediately went to O'Sheehans where we got their chicken wings and fajitas while we waited for our room to be readied. We ultimately ended up getting their chicken wings almost daily because they were so fabulous.

Being from Michigan, we were thrilled to be getting the warm temperatures and sunshine, and so we spent the majority of our time near the adult pool. There were activities, competitions, music and DJ's all day long. We rose early every day to make the most of it.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

Excellent! Very roomy, including the shower. I hate when any part of my body touches the wall of a strange shower, and that never happened. It was roomy enough for a few people! There was plenty of cabinet space in the bathroom for all of our toiletries and hooks for towels and bathing suits.

Harvest Caye

We got henna tattoos there! Everyone was so friendly! Very warm that day.
