Sail Date: Mar 2018
Cabin: Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

This was my 5th cruise with Royal Caribbean and my 15th overall. The ship was booked to capacity for this voyage and it showed! Elevators were frustratingly slow stopping at every deck and Windjammer was maddening.

The ship overall is beginning to show her age and she could use a thorough update, although some areas look fresh after a recent dry dock. The stateroom decor is dated and looks straight out of Golden Girls. Many public spaces are still modern and well maintained; the promenade has every bit of the wow factor as the day the ship was launched.

Service on board was generally very good. Our stateroom attendant was grumpy and only cared to do the bare minimum, but the waiters and bar staff were fantastic. I never had a problem getting a drink even with the ship sailing completely full. We frequented R Bar and had exceptional service there along with Sky Bar.

Superior Oceanview Stateroom with Balcony

Cabin D2

I was surprised how much bigger this stateroom was than Oasis class ships. It was probably the most spacious balcony cabin I’ve seen aside from Disney. Storage was ample and the balcony was bigger than I’ve seen on other ships. The decor needs some updating, however.
