We wanted to see Cuba as cheaply as possible with an overnight in Havana. That meant a ride on the NCL Tub, the Sky. We liked seeing Havana; we hated everything about the ship except the friendly staff. First of all, I did not have one morsel of food that was not cold. One morning I noticed a server putting out a fresh batch of French toast. He had JUST PLACE IT THERE. It was COLD. Clearly, they make the food hours before it is to be eaten and it just sits around. Ever hear of food-borne illness? I would like to know why food that is even lukewarm is never served. Ever hear of foil?

Secondly, the food itself was bad. They serve nothing but cheap cuts like stew beef, flank steak, chicken, and fish. And the stuff is lousy. Even the desserts stunk. I am so tired of paying a lot of money and getting poor food. It seems to get worse with every voyage.

Third, the balcony cabin was ridiculously small. They could not even face the night table the right way because there was no space for it. There was only a stool, not a chair. And a small sofa bed. For a four day cruise, not so bad., but sadly, we are booked on the sister ship of this one for an 11 day cruise in October. There’s not enough storage room for that. All there are is a few narrow drawers in the closet.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

We had an aft balcony cabin. Bathroom tiny, tiny. Shower, even tinier. Comfortable bed. Room so small the bedside table had to be turned sideways. No chair. Small sofa bed. No storage to speak of.
