We chose this cruise because of the itinerary and weren't disappointed! The ports were great and overall experience very enjoyable as the ship was spotless, staff exceptionally friendly and helpful and food in all restaurants, except Shogun, sublime. Embarkation and disembarkation were both speedy and smooth. We had a very unfortunate experience with a guest jumping overboard and were out at sea involved in a search and rescue operation so missed a port, but obviously NCL was in no way to blame and we felt the staff handled the incident very well. We had the unlimited drinks and dining packages and found the speciality restaurants top class. I must make special mention of Le Bistro which is the French Speciality restaurant. We dined there 4 times.( We did two cruises back to back so twice on each cruise) Cagneys and Teppanyaki were also both good. We never had to wait to be seated in the main dining rooms and in 21 days on the ship we only disliked one dinner but the waiters always offer to fetch other courses if one is dissatisfied. We'll definitely use NCL again for future cruises.

Mid-Ship Oceanview Picture Window

We had a ocean view picture window stateroom with ample space for all our belongings and were pleasantly surprised to see the cleverly designed bathroom with a shower double the size of other cruise ships we've been on and even a separate toilet. We were provided with conditioning shampoo, body wash, hand wash, bars of soap and body lotion.

Port Reviews

Casablanca

We did the excursion to the mosque and city tour. Very enjoyable and informative.

Las Palmas (Gran Canaria)

Beautiful port! Very clean with flowers everywhere and lovely beaches. All walking distance from the port.

Tenerife

We loved this port with it's spectacular scenery - high mountains and once again spotless and flowers everywhere. The Spaniards take good care of their public parks and gardens and fountains! Walking distance to port.

Malaga

We visited the Moorish castle overlooking the port - a must! The gardens and views across Malaga are breath taking.
