I rated the cruise 5 stars and that's for the ship and the crew along with a bunch of great other things. The only negative two things I have to report is that the disembarkation was 40-45 minutes late, Celebrity reported that only 3 Custom Agents were furnished, I counted 5 when we eventually were allowed to leave and the Celebrity bus transfers to the Ft. Lauderdale airport was a mess and uncordinated.

That's the gist and, would I sail them again...YES...but until they do better with the transfers they offer, I wouldn't use the airport service again. Their baggage forwarding worked perfect and our luggage met us where it was supposed to at our home airport.

We had an aft Sunset Veranda on the 7th deck...cabin 7358 and were joined by 4 other cruisers who occupied 7360 and 7362. Depending on personal choice as to what cabin is for you, this aft cabin did not disappoint and I'll try and attach a picture of a gorgeous rainbow which set itself down nearly in the wake of the ship as we briefly passed under some rain clouds that lasted all of 3 minutes. The aft cabin was roomy enough for myself and bride and provided enough space for all our needs. It has a stand-up shower that also does not disappoint and adequate storage drawers and locations for two persons. I must also add, that the walk from the nearest elevators is a long hallway to the aft of the ship, but the cabin that we chose was definitely worth it.

Cabin Review

Sunset Veranda

Cabin SV

For those who love the aft cabins you will not be disappointed. The balcony area was sufficient with two reclining chairs and decent size table. You may think otherwise if you look at pictures of the rear of the ship and hesitate, but don't if you love the aft. It's well worth the extra dollars we were charged. Overhead storage of two bins above the bed, two decent size suitcases fit under the bed no problem, and 5 pull out drawers and another at the desk will handle under ware, socks, shirts or whatever and there's also a two sided sliding locked with a nice full size mirror.

When we sailed through some 3-5 foot waves we did get a little side to side rock, gently may I add and, it helped rock us to sleep. You also get a large sofa and a table.

Another advantage is you have a 180 degree view from the sunset veranda aft cabins and when the stars are out, I must say, it's awesome at night. The bathroom is large enough for a stand up shower with sliding rounded doors and adequate space for whatever you would want to leave in the bath. Bed was OK, but, our bed on our first cruise was a little better, again, this boils down to personal choice. Our room steward was very good and kept his schedule on time. Room service for morning breakfast also was fine, they come a little earlier than you request but hey, who can complain about that ?

We also used their laundry service from the cabin and it was on time and delivered as stated and reasonable in cost. Should we sail with this ship again we would again book the Sunset Veranda....my bride and I rate it... A+
