Sail Date: Mar 2018

This was our first cruise with Celebrity, previously we have sailed with Princess in the Mediterranean. Staff on the whole are very friendly and helpful, especially those in the buffet and shops. Our room attendant was great, always a lovely clean cabin.

Cabin was great. Loved having the bed beside the balcony and being able to lie in bed and look out at the sea. Good size bathroom. Great having a shower with a proper shower door and not a curtain. Lots of storage space both in the cabin and in the bathroom. It was towards the back of the ship and near the main elevators and we found this a good position. Although a little rough at times the movement of the ship in this cabin didn't bother us.

We were disappointed that we did not get the anytime dining we had requested and which had been acknowledged on our ticket. Unfortunately this impacted on the enjoyment of our cruise as the person we needed to talk to about this was quite rude and inflexible, not only to us, but to others who were ahead of is in the queue. We found the food in the main dining room pretty average and a little boring. We dined at Silk Harvest and Tuscan Grille. The menu at Silk Harvest was a special set menu and although the food was pretty good it was mainly all meat with very little else on the plate - different dishes from different parts of Asia - and we were struggling to eat more meat by the end of it. Tuscan Grille was okay but nothing speical.
