We took Harmony of the Seas for a seven night cruise. The ship is massive with plenty of fun activities and entertainment. It is beautiful and the maintenance/cleanliness is superior. We were so happy with the appearance at all times. The break out game was an awesome idea, but they book at least 12 people on a session and by the time you get all those people in there it's not worth the money. The snorkeling at Christmas cove/honeymoon beach in St Thomas is not worth the money at this point. The staff told us (after it was booked of course) that they are still recooperating from the hurricane. The beach was beautiful but we only saw a turtle and a few fish. We did the food and culture tour in Puerto Rico which was fabulous. Although we felt it was worth the money, you can also do your own walking tour and be totally safe. Finally, we stopped in Labadee. This was our favorite stop. It's amazingly beautiful. Make sure you go to the dragons breath spot where you can hear him snore. Do not snorkel in Haiti. A staff member told us that the Haitians are so poor that they eat the fish so there isn't much to see. We bought goggles and went out into the water where we saw a few fish, but wouldn't be worth paying to snorkle.

My husband and I went by ourselves but the kids on the shop seemed well taken care of. The food was ok at best. The main dining staff were attentive, but a lot of the food was bland. Can never go wrong with Royal Caribbean's French onion soup though! Windjammer was edible, but staff weren't as friendly. One massive complaint we had was with the cruise director. He was not engaged, not present, but most of all his communication about activities, when to leave and board ship, etc was horrible. On the first day, it was so loud and we couldn't hear info regarding the safety meeting that is mandatory. We walked up to tenth floor (elevators are not allowed during this) only to be told to walk to deck 5. We walked down to deck 5 to be told to walk back to deck 10 to get our seapass cards. They wouldn't less us in our state room to get our seapass cards and made us walk back to deck 5. Again, communication was awful and they were not friendly at all. The deluxe drink package was worth it as you can get alcohol, fresh squeezed juices, soda, and blended coffees similar to starbucks. If you drink, get the package! Just be sure to check your account daily because we did have to get a couple things corrected. The virtual balcony was super nice and made an interior room feel much larger. The bathrooms are really spacious and much improved from older ships. We bought the 5 dollar wrist bands which let you charge stuff to your account, work as a room key, etc. While these are fabulous, we still needed our seapass cards for a few things. Wish Royal Caribbean would write the same info on your seapass card on the bands. Overall, it was fun but we wouldn't do it again with the same cruise director. We did love the ship and overall we had a great time. The entertainment is outstanding on the ship.
